Your mission
- Leading the Propulsion Division with responsibility for at least three departments in the fields of rocket engine design, rocket engine testing and fluid systems
- Responsible for all engine developments at POLARIS including design, manufacturing, testing, and vehicle integration of propulsion systems
- Ensuring the prompt and cost-effective execution of technical tasks and projects
- Fostering innovation in propulsion systems and engine/vehicle integration
- Managing resources including personnel and budget
- Serving as liaison with the Vehicles department
- Support customer acquisition
Your profile
- Comprehensive work experience in major rocket engine projects
- Comprehensive experience in leading large teams/projects
- Additional work experience in air-breathing propulsion systems is an advantage
- Additional background in hypersonics technologies is an advantage
- Experience in the defense sector is an advantage
- Proficiency in both German and English
- Start-up mentality
- Proactive thinking, high level of motivation, flexibility, resilience, and teamworking skills
