We are continuing to expand our team and are looking to fill the position of Aerothermodynamics Engineer for Supersonic and Hypersonic Vehicles (m/f/d).
Your mission
- Analysis of external aerodynamics for a two-staged aircraft configuration for flow regimes from subsonic to hypersonic
- Analysis of aerothermodynamics for spaceplanes in the hypersonic regime
- Applying analytical, empirical and numerical methods for the analysis of aerodynamics and aerothermodynamics problems
- Conduction of CFD analyses in the flow regime from subsonic to hypersonic including preprocessing and postprocessing tasks
- Analysis of inlet flows in the frame of air-breathing propulsion analysis
Your profile
- Successfully completed aerospace engineering degree or similar (M.Sc.)
- Several years of working experience in fluid dynamics, aerodynamics as well as aerothermodynamics analysis preferred
- Experience with CAD software (e.g. Inventor, CATIA or PTC Creo)
- Extensive experience with CFD software (e.g. Ansys, OpenFOAM)
- Proactive thinking, high level of motivation, flexibility, and team-working skills
- Proficiency in both German and English
- Experience with working in a startup environment favorable
