POLARIS Raumflugzeuge GmbH develops innovative transportation systems that redefine access to space for payloads and passengers. We are continuing to expand our team and are looking to fill the position of Hydraulics / Pneumatics System Engineer (m/f/d).
Your mission
- Design of the hydraulic and pneumatic system of a two stage winged hypersonic UAV
- Analysis and Simulation of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Communication with different disciplines to ensure compliance with all requirements
- Selection of components and support in procurement
- Support in testing and verification of the hydraulic and pneumatic system
Your profile
- Successfully completed aerospace or mechanical engineering degree or similar (M.Sc./M.Eng.)
- Experience in designing hydraulic or pneumatic system for aerospace applications desirable
- Inter-disciplinary knowledge across all aerospace engineering fields desirable
- Experience with CAD software (preferably Autodesk Inventor or PTC CREO)
- Basic programming skills in python, C/C++
- Extensive and inter-disciplinary knowledge across all aerospace engineering fields
- Excellent analytical and interdisciplinary skills
- fluent English, German desirable
- Proactive mindset, high level of motivation, flexibility, perseverance, and ability to work in a team
- Work experience in a start-up environment is an advantage
