POLARIS Raumflugzeuge GmbH develops innovative transportation systems that redefine access to space for payloads and passengers. We are continuing to expand our team and are looking to fill the position of Test Engineer for Rocket Engine Test Stand (m/f/d).
Your mission
- Design and develop test stands for rocket engines and subsystems
- Select and integrate instrumentation, control, and data acquisition systems
- Plan, execute, and safely operate test campaigns for engines and components
- Analyze test data, create reports, and provide feedback to engineering teams
Your profile
- Degree in Space Engineering, Aerospace Engineering (M.Sc.) or similar
- Experience with rocket engines, test stands, high-pressure systems or cryogenic fluid systems
- Safety-conscious mindset and the ability to work under pressure during live tests
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team
- Proactive thinking, high level of motivation, flexibility, and team-working skills
- Proficiency in both German and English
- Experience with NI Hardware
- Hands-on knowledge of LabVIEW, Python, or embedded control systems
- Background in test automation or real-time systems
- Work experience in a start-up environment
