POLARIS Raumflugzeuge GmbH develops innovative transportation systems that redefine access to space for payloads and passengers. We are continuing to expand our team and are looking to fill the position of a Vehicle Design, Assembly, Integration and Testing (DAIT) Engineer (m/f/d).
Your mission
- Assembly, integration and testing of vehicle subsystems and components
- Fabrication of composite and metal structures
- Design and assembly of test stands/setups and ground support equipment
- Selection and procurement of system components, preparation of manufacturing data
- Flight test campaign support
Your profile
- Successfully completed engineering degree (M.Sc. or M.Eng. in mechanical/aerospace/automotive engineering or similar)
- Extensive hands-on experience in hardware assembly and testing
- Experience with mechanical design and analysis tools
- Experience in aerospace related projects advantageous
- Work experience in a start-up environment is an advantage
- Proactive thinking, high level of motivation, flexibility, and team-working skills
- Proficiency in both German and English
